The University of Dar es Salaam's College of Engineering and Technology (COET) and its Technology Development and Transfer Centre (TDTC) represent the institutional foundation Kinetiq is building toward.
Technical Validation
Every Kinetiq conversion kit would be reviewed and validated by UDSM engineering staff; ensuring safety, performance, and regulatory defensibility before any deployment.
Workshop Facility
TDTC's engineering workshop is the target facility for Kinetiq's first prototype conversion, currently in active development and aimed at completion by Q3 2026.
Standards Co-authorship
Kinetiq is engaging with LATRA and TBS toward co-authoring Tanzania's first formal EV conversion standard, a framework that would define the regulatory basis for the entire sector.
