The Technology

A new heart.
Not a new vehicle.

We replace the petrol engine with a high-performance electric drivetrain kit. The rider keeps their motorcycle. Kinetiq owns the battery. Everyone wins.

The Conversion

From petrol to electric in under four hours.

Step 01
Rider brings in their motorcycle

Any Bajaj Boxer BM150 or compatible East African frame. No paperwork, no waiting list. The rider keeps ownership throughout.

Step 02
Kinetiq installs the drivetrain kit

We remove the petrol engine, exhaust, and fuel tank. A brushless motor, controller, BMS, and IoT module take their place. Completed in under four hours.

Step 03
Rider leaves with an electric vehicle

Mechanically familiar, dramatically cheaper to run. Kinetiq installs a battery for first operation, and from that point energy is delivered through the swap network.

Electric conversion kit components
The Kit

Commercially proven. East African-adapted.

Mid-drive or hub motor
Motor controller
Battery management system (BMS)
IoT telematics module
Structural integration hardware and wiring

The battery is not in this kit.It is not the rider's to own. It is Kinetiq's to manage, charge, and circulate.

The Energy Model

Kinetiq does not sell batteries.
It sells access to energy.

Step 01
Convert

The rider's petrol motorcycle is converted using the Kinetiq kit. A Kinetiq-owned battery is installed for operation. The rider pays only for the conversion kit, not the battery.

Conversion generates the first transaction
Step 02
Swap

When the battery is depleted, the rider pulls into a swap station and exchanges it for a fully charged unit in under three minutes. They pay for the swap. The battery stays with Kinetiq.

Swapping generates the ongoing relationship
Step 03
Scale

As the network grows, Kinetiq adds swap stations, grows the battery pool, and expands to new geographies, with IoT data informing every decision.
